Accidents happen, and when they do, we’re here to help.
What to do if you’re in an accident
- Stop—don’t leave the accident scene.
- Get yourself to a safe area. If your vehicle is drivable, move it out of traffic.
- Get help for anyone who was injured.
- Call the police.
- Collect the following information:
- Names, phone numbers, and insurance providers and policy number of other drivers involved.
- Photos of your vehicle and the other vehicles involved.
- From there, you’re ready to submit your claim.
